Codebook is free to try for 14 days, after which an In-App Purchase of Codebook Pro is required to access the sync and editing features.

Codebook has been protecting sensitive information on mobile devices for 19 years, since the days of the Palm Pilot! It protects your passwords and personal information from unauthorized access by would-be crackers, malicious thieves, and snoopy coworkers. Stop using the same password for all your accounts! Codebook generates strong, random passwords and keeps them for you, protected by your master password and powerful encryption.

Pros and cons of Codebook Password Manager app for iPhone and iPad

Codebook Password Manager app good for

Very responsive and friendly developers! This app is highly useful and strongly recommended. Any suggestions or possible bugs are carefully looked into. Great work!
I like the straight forward UI, the search option and the possibility to create your own data fields. It would be nice to store pictures.
one of the securest password apps. (blackhat security conference) perfect app with local wifi sync or cloud. nice licensing model. please add browser integration very soon! also windows mobile support. best password manager in app store
I just need a mobile app that securely stores my passwords. Strip has no bugs and was rated most secure in a German technology magazine.
The app works perfectly. It Should have a system for recovering the master password to get into the program, but that is a minor detail.
This is a must have apps for user who have more than one account. It really helps you to keep vital info so you dont have to email to retrieve your password. Recommended to everyone.

Some bad moments

Strip is very expensive! You can no longer put Strip on your computer so that you can sync all youre devices without paying $20.00 bucks more. There are much better and cheaper ways to keep your passwords safe.
It was a good app until it needed upgrading, now it wont upgrade and all my stored stuff Is lost. Dont rely on it!
I dont care for the iPad version of Codebook. It seems the interface was ported directly from the iPhone version, and is difficult to make edits because it is using only about 1/10th the available screen area. The iPhone version is much better.
Ive had this app for quite some time. The major revision was primarily a name change with very little new functionality. I like the ability to sync across devices with Dropbox, and I like that theres a desktop version (although I have not purchased). Dislike: Its 2016, and it still doesnt rotate into landscape mode well. It does it, but if you want to type your master password into the box, youll need to rotate it back to portrait. Yes its minor, but seriously? This thing has been out for several years. Come on.
It sets my iPhone 6 plus into a cycle requesting Touch ID over and over again at least 3 times upon login. You have about half a second to touch something before it asks again. Was able to turn it off after a series of logins but after waiting a long time for Touch ID to be implemented its disappointing that it doesnt work.
Since the last update, just over a week ago, the app crashes before it actually opens. I have lost access to all of my passwords! Im hoping for an update soon but havent seen it yet.
